A throwback to the days of old when good hotdogs were plentiful in Clendenin. We sampled a variety of items. WV hotdog, chili cheese, cheese fries, bacon cheese fries, hush puppies, and of course ice cream. The hotdogs came wrapped in wax paper and were steamed to perfection. The coleslaw was creamy and the onions chopped so fine you barley knew they were there. The chili was on the bland side but I'll forgive them that. The dogs themselves were all beef and had a good flavor to them. Overall a 4/5 star hotdog in my book. The fries were generously portioned and they weren't skimpy with the nacho cheese. The hush puppies were wonderful, I went back and ordered a dozen of them as their only fault is they are on the small side. They had a wonderful corn mill crispy texture and good flavor. Little balls of fries perfection. Ice cream was traditional frozen yogurt variety, creamy and good. Overall, best hotdogs on the river in my book.

Great prices. Blizzards aren’t quite as good as old Dairy Queen, the add ins are more blended up. Still tasty though!

It's definitely worth the stop! I had a west Virginian hotdog and the chocolate softserve. Both were amazing.

Great little spot in the tiny town of Clendenin. Very friendly staff, and the owner (I believe) is very accommodating. Brings your food out to your vehicle or picnic table. Checks to make sure you are pleased with your order. Makes you feel like he truly does appreciate your business. Small towns have the best people! Burgers and fries were just what we were craving! AND the banana split that we shared afterwards. Yum!Delicious food, great service and great prices too! (Picnic tables are made for little people though, so bring your own camp chair if you plan on hanging out to eat). We enjoyed the night time atmosphere.

Perfect rest stop during Covid. One way to enter the outdoor order window, one way out. Outdoor picnic tables well spaced. Staff delivers food to your table. Nice cheeseburgers. About 5 minutes off of I-79, exit 19. If you want ketchup with your fries, ask when ordering. There weren't any in our bag which did have salt, pepper and napkins.

Great place for hotdogs, burgers, or ice cream in town and cheap. They have some unique dips for their cones as well, blue raspberry year-round, with cherry and butterscotch being seasonal items. The rest of the menu is hit and miss. Some items are good, some not as much. But if you stick with the basics, you won't go wrong.
